    Close to a million children are evaluated emergently each year in the United States for traumatic brain injury, and most of these injuries are mild traumatic brain injury, or concussion. Symptoms, such as headache, fatigue, and dizziness, lasting more than four weeks are termed persistent post-concussive symptoms and can be quite disabling for children and adolescents.
