• Surgeon level variation in outcome of repair of congenital diaphragmatic hernia with particular reference to the management of recurrence

    : The aim of this study is to investigate firstly, the rate of recurrence following primary repair of a congenital diaphragmatic hernia and secondly, the rate of recurrence following revisional surgical repair. The primary outcome is rate of recurrence. Secondary outcomes are to establish whether recurrence is related to surgeon, surgeon volume, side of defect or the use of a patch.
