• AAOS further challenges No Surprises Act

    After issuing a formal letter, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons has filed an amicus brief that challenges federal government implementation of the No Surprises Act, according to a press release.
    The amicus brief from the AAOS supports the lawsuit led by the AMA and the American Hospital Association that challenges the No Surprises Act, which went into effect on Jan. 1, 2022.
