    Obesity is a common exclusion criterion for delivering of breast reduction mammaplasty in the treatment of symptomatic macromastia. Although the risk of surgical complications is high in patients with obesity and increases gradually with an increase in the severity of obesity1, the surgical complications are frequently minor and do not preclude a satisfactory outcome2. BRM offers patients with obesity who suffer from a SM an early improvement in their quality of life3, but there is a paucity of information about it in the very long-term.
