    Patients with Tourette syndrome and chronic tic disorder have an increased risk for CV and metabolic disorders, according to a study published in JAMA Neurology.
    “The results expand our understanding of the broader health consequences of and and have direct implications across health services, including neurology, pediatrics, psychiatry and primary care,” Gustaf Brander, MSc, graduate student at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, and colleagues wrote.
