• Social Media Fuels Anxiety in Teens With Acne

    The results of a national online survey of 1,010 teenagers revealed that acne has a negative impact on body image and self-esteem, leading to anxiety over using social media. Cutanea Life Sciences commissioned the survey, which was conducted by Harris Poll.
    The vast majority of teens surveyed reported that they have acne. Within this group, 84% say they experience it more often than once a month, with over a quarter saying they experience it daily. Only 2% described their cases as severe ; 42% described their acne as moderate and around half of teens described it as mild .
